The parking structure for the Aquarium is steps away on the water side of Shoreline Drive between Chestnut Place and Aquarium Way.

Park at the structure all day, and visit The Pike and Shoreline Village for food and shopping before or after your visit to the Aquarium. It’s an easy, convenient place to park and spend your day enjoying the Aquarium and surrounding attractions.

The fee is $8.00 for the day with Aquarium validation.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is located at 100 Aquarium Way Long Beach, CA 90802.

Please note that the Aquarium will not be selling pre-paid parking at this time. Parking can be paid for as you exit the lot with a credit card or at one of the parking kiosks near the elevators.

Street Closures and Guest Parking Instructions During Grand Prix

September 24, 2021.

From the 710: Guests may exit the 710 freeway at 6th Street or Broadway. Guests should turn Right on Magnolia and continue on Magnolia and cross Ocean Blvd. Immediately after crossing Ocean Blvd, Guests should exit to the Right at the ‘Golden Shore/Catalina Landing’ exit where they will be directed by Security staff to the rear circle area – to park at Pierpoint lot or Hornblower lot, or to park Catalina Express/Catalina Flat Lot, depending on availability of parking.

Side streets: Guests can take Ocean Blvd to Magnolia and turn left. Immediately after turning Left, Guests should exit at the ‘Golden Shore/Catalina Landing’ exit where they will be directed by Security staff to the rear circle area – to park at Pierpoint lot or Hornblower lot, or to Catalina Express/Catalina Flat Lot.

From the San Pedro area/Bridge: Once the bridge terminates at Ocean Blvd, guests should continue on Ocean and then turn Right at Magnolia. Immediately after turning Right, Guests should exit at the ‘Golden Shore/Catalina Landing’ exit where they will be directed by Security staff to the rear circle area – to park at Pierpoint lot or Hornblower lot, or to Catalina Express/Catalina Flat Lot.


September 25-26, 2021.

From the 710: Guests may exit the 710 freeway at 6th Street or Broadway. Guests should turn Right on Magnolia and continue on Magnolia and cross Ocean Blvd. Guests should continue toward the Left and proceed over the Queensway Bridge to the Queen Mary parking lot (this is an open air surface lot).

Side streets within Long Beach: Guests can take Ocean Blvd to Magnolia and turn left. Immediately after turning Left, Guests should veer toward the Left and proceed over the Queensway Bridge to the Queen Mary parking lot (this is an open air surface lot).

From the San Pedro area/Bridge: Once the bridge terminates at Ocean Blvd, guests should continue on Ocean and then turn Right at Magnolia. Immediately after turning Right, Guests should veer toward the Left and proceed over the Queensway Bridge to the Queen Mary parking lot (this is an open air surface lot).

Aquarium and parking staff will direct you once you arrive at the Queen Mary parking lot to the shuttles to the Aquarium.

Parking is $10, and both cash/card will be accepted. For Aquarium members with prepaid parking tickets, these will be valid for parking at the Queen Mary on these days.
